Come join us for this unique 9-day residential study-intensive and retreat program. We offer an opportunity to enter into a shared exploration of J.Krishnamurti's life-changing teachings with like-minded people from around the world.

This fully-immersive Study Program is designed for College Students and Adults interested in an in-depth penetrating inquiry into the core essentials of Krishnamurti's teachings. Our emphasis is on awakening an entirely different dimension of intelligence, which Krishnamurti called "insight." Insight makes the normally hidden operations of the mind transparent. Within the process of our shared dialoguing together, this dormant intelligence will have the opportunity to flower in our minds.

We will work together to find out for ourselves what it means to create a ground for a transformation of human consciousness, and what is necessary to bring about a shift from the old linear thought-based mind, with its dead habits and mechanical repetitive life, to a fresh mind possessing great vitality and clarity.

The exquisite beauty of the Ojai valley offers us the perfect space in which to enter this work together. Study with us in this beautiful, peaceful valley where Krishnamurti lived and taught. You will be surrounded by majestic mountains, lovely orange and avocado groves, and colorful blooming flowers. We will also take lovely walks into the surrounding canyons.

SPECIAL NOTE TO COLLEGE STUDENTS:

The Krishnamurti Summer Study Program is designed to address the special needs of college students. We are fully aware of the impersonal, institutional approach of most college educational experiences. For many college students there is also a great deal of confusion that arises as a result of the fragmented nature of treating different disciplines as "separate" islands of knowledge, and the insistence that learning is nothing more than memorization. In the Krishnamurti Summer Study-Intensive Program, you will have the opportunity to go very deeply into the core questions that can lead us directly to find out for ourselves how the mind actually works, and what is preventing us from making a leap into another more wholistic dimension of awareness.

THOUGHTS FROM PARTICIPANTS:

Larry: "The atmosphere of the whole retreat was perfect. From the very first day when I arrived, I felt a presence of peace that was energizing and was there throughout the  entire program. It was as if time had stopped. The warmth and hospitality that were freely given by Richard, Deborah and Satish, was so very welcome. The quality of the rooms and the food were also full of this same hospitality, attention and care for each one of the participants, so that I for one didn't want to leave. Several weeks have passed since the workshop and I am grateful that the positive impact it had on me is taking strong root in my daily life. It has helped me greatly to have a much deeper understanding of Mr. Krishnamurti's teachings."

Maria: "If you see the crisis the world is in today and the urgency for humanity to make a revolution in consciousness to another awareness, this study intensive is a catalyst for that transformation. It is the spark to illuminate compassionate living."

Ben (student): "Attending the retreat provided me with an invaluable opportunity to delve deeply, both into K's teachings, and into myself. The well-ordered structure of the retreat, the beauty of the setting, created an atmosphere of comfort and quiet, with excellent vegetarian meals, nearby hiking trails, comfortable accommodations, and plenty of time to converse and bond with others. I was struck by the power of the dialogue sessions as a vehicle for probing into life's essential questions. The 3 co-facilitators, Richard, Deborah, and Satish, proved excellent at helping to create and maintain an informal, friendly, yet serious space for inquiry, in addition to helping to clarify the discussion for me. In the group dialogues I felt no awkwardness in conversing openly and deeply."

Mansha: "I was deeply touched by the way Richard, Deborah and Satish kept the fire of the dialogue alive. I'd also like to mention the beautiful way they complement each other and helped us to go further. I feel I am watching myself from a deeper place than I have ever touched before."
