Planned Giving/Endowment

Planned giving and endowment gifts are essential to the long-term prospects for spreading Krishnamurti's work throughout the world. Donors who chose to make these vital gifts to help the KFA's programs in the future are designated members of the Legacy Circle. Through their generosity, they truly provide a legacy for the rest of the world by ensuring Krishnamurti's work will be available to future generations.

The work of the KFA will continue far beyond the completion of the digitization of all of Krishnamurti's work. Fifty percent of his teachings have never been published in any form. And beyond that there is the prospect of continually translating books and providing foreign language subtitles for DVDs. These kinds of gifts will provide for continually migrating our archival holdings to current technologies for preservation and dissemination.

As well, with funding we will be able to ensure the long-term survival of Oak Grove School, and grow the programs that have vital influence, such as the Teacher's Academy, and the University Student Summer Study Program.

Planned giving and endowment gifts, if we can reach our goal of $25 million, will provide the basis for constructing a Krishnamurti Center in Ojai, accommodating residential programs around the year.

Since the Krishnamurti Foundation operates at a planned deficit each year, in order to press on with digitizing the entire archival collection beyond what our current level of donations can support, your contributions of any kind are much needed and deeply appreciated.
